I can imagine, oak is dense and heavy, not sure it would dry down to be ready to burn this year, but it is certainly great firewood. Just blocking and quartering must have been some work. I marvel a the old trees, but there comes a time when near buildings. We have one oak of that size, but the center is hollow, property corner, some day it too will provide a huge pile of firewood, but I would not want to be near it when it goes down, several huge limbs came off it a few years back, I towed those in for firewood, but they are some interesting pieces, I am going to try and mill them somehow, lot of burl, I've got to at least get something out of it that I can use to make something, old trees sure are remarkable.
