I've found this at some on-line auctions I've been looking at, any of the name brand stuff is being bid way, way up. Another one is the rolling tool chests. Earlier this year I got a nice red Craftsman one (4 drawers on top, two on the base and a cabinet area on the bottom, all the locks, lined drawers) with some miscellaneous stuff in it for under $100. Now they are going for $150 and up empty. One bonus I found tucked in the back of the bottom area was a Craftsman pipe threader with 4 dies, still in the box. Auctioneeers had no idea it was in there otherwise they would have pulled it out and offered it separately (he was helping me load stuff as I cleaned it out).
Looking at an auction now with several lots of tools and tons of router bits (to go with the $5 new plunge router I got at a consignment auction a few weeks ago). Have to decide do I want the stuff enough to put up with the scorn of the wife by buying it.
