Only a week and a Day to go to the Geneseo IL show just outside the Moline, Rock Island, Davenport metro area. We will be featuring Lessor knowns (including Moline, Hart Parr and Twin City), Crawlers of all makes, lessor known gas engines and lessor known implement brands. We will have a large display of locally built Rock Island and Heider tractors, including many extremely rare models as well as three Heider Motor Cultivators (2 1 rows, 1 2-row, only about 10 total known to exist). We will also attempt to cultivate with one. If you have something sitting in the shed that never gets featured anywhere, dust it off and bring it over.
Max Armstrong will be at the show Friday afternoon, and there will be working demonstrations all three days. This is a working farm show, so a lot of implements come out you wont see anywhere else. Author and collector Corn Picker Bob has been hauling in many unusual and rare corn pickers for the show, so expect to see a lot of corn picking, combining and plowing.
The show also features an L&G section, entertainment for the ladies and cleaned multiple times each day modern restrooms.
