Smith Walter - Suggest you use a Delco type 10SI internally-regulated alternator. These were used on nearly all GM cars from the mid 70's thru mid 80's. They are readily available at junkyards/auto parts stores, are cheap, are reliable, and they are simple to wire. For the ignition ballast resistor, use a Chrysler ignition resistor. Obtain this from any auto parts store. I will e-mail you a wiring diagram off-line. Bob
