Just to let you know...treat your tractor nicely or it will get you when you least expect it. I was out driving around and along came this thunder storm. I saw a large lightning bolt ahead of me and so i turned around to go home. As i was heading home,i turned around to look at how severe the approaching thunderstorm was. I saw the thunderstorm, but I also spotted a tornado,so even though i did not know if it was moving toward me or not,and the cops dont want me to drive on the road,I put the tractor in road gear and gave it full throttle. As i pulled out onto the road,i looked behind me again and this this time there were 2 tornadoes and lots of lightning. I said to the tractor( OK,OK so maybe tractors dont hear or see or anything, but i kind of like to think they do...) "ah sh--" and went turned my attention to driving. When I got home I put the tractor in reverse and backed up the driveway. I left the tractor out because I thought it would only rain for a few minutes, and as of that time, there was no danger that a twister would come to claim the tractor. I did however, cap the exhaust pipe. About 5 minutes later,i noticed i did not cover the seat up,even though water will not hurt it. I ran outside through the rain and put a trash bag over the seat. Anyhow...after the rain had stopped i went out and tried to start the tractor again so I could go drive around some more. The tractor was not very happy and did not want to start,so I opened the decompression petcocks after 2 attempts at starting it failed. The tractor spit fuel and oil at me out through the petcock and into my eyes. After i left the tractor for a moment to rinse my eyes out,I returned and checked the magneto to see if it was wet inside...it wasnt and this time the tractor started with its petcocks open. I think the tractor sprayed me for one reason:It was mad at me because i left it out in the rain during a severe thunderstorm. In return,it sprayed fuel at me. See,just like i told you...if you dont treat your tractor kindly,it will get back at you when you least expect it.
