I almost tipped my dads John Deere A. 2 boys were camping in a sand pit that has 3 roads that surround it. I saw 2 tents while driving down the road one day. They had dug a hole near one of the trails that leads to the pit( Not really a pit just a circle-shaped sandy area about 80 feet wide) A couple days later I drove through the pit trying to get to the road on the other side. I knew the hole was there and had avoided it the day i saw the tents,but today i forgot and the right rear wheel went in. The hole was not deep enough or wide enough to tip the tractor which was lucky for the tractor and me. I looked down and saw that one of the treads was resting on the edge of the hole and i put the clutch in. The tractor pulled itself out without any trouble. Even if this did not happen i still wonder what that hole was for....
