: Does anyone know where I can find information on the whereabouts of any of these tractors? Parts, Literature, or just information. I am not sure if the name is spelled right. I am searching for a friend. I will appreciate any help.
: Thanks

AgriPower tractors were imported and sold about a decade ago and came in two flavors. Early models were surplus Fiat (found in storage in South America if memory serves) Sheet metal on these models was an off white, and they looked something like a David Brown.

Later models were new, private-label Zetors. These machines had red sheet metal. Final assembly on these units was completed in Eau Claire, WI, though the tractors came from the Czech Republic. Both varieties were imported by Menard Inc. and sold through their Wholesale America (no longer in operation) and Menard Buildings (since sold) divisions. The corporation's Menards home centers did not sell them, and won't have any info on them.

The Fiat distributors were unhappy about Menard dumping the surplus tractors at about half retail, and at the time instructed its dealers not to service or provide parts for these machines. Whether this is still the case I don't know. Zetor tractors are still imported, and the local dealers used to advertise parts and service for both Zetor and AgriPower. I suspect this relationship was much more amicable. There are a few Zetor dealers on the web if you do a search.

hope this helps some..
