The owners manual is available on-line, downloadable pdf at no cost. It has very good hydraulic and electrical drawings and is well written. It also has a very good diagnostics flow chart. Probably something like Meyer.com... just a guess.
I suspect the C solenoid, but my manual is out in the cold barn. I have revived the C solenoid a few times by washing it in mineral spirits.
The electrical coil of each solenoid is outside of the pump body, and can be easily tested by putting a screwdriver next to it when it is activated. Its magnetism will pull the screwdriver. Do not assume the coil is faulty just because it does not become magnetic. All 3 solenoids are activated by 12 volts and draw 1-3 amps. So you can test each solenoid coil with a small battery charger, hook the black lead to the metal outside of the pump or motor. If you take a solenoid out of the E47 body, drain the oil first as the oil resevoir surrounds the lift ram, and it will flow out of the open solenoid hole. I don't remember the sequence, but some functions (like right turn??) require 2 solenoids to be active at the same time.
I have had the switches on the dash panel fail and thus not send signal to the solenoids. I have replaced more switches than solenoids.
I have found the 2 separate switches to be more reliable than the joy stick switch.
