a couple questions, how big are the battery cables, 0 or 1 gauge is the prefern size, then check both cable ends, a lot of problems on n tractors are caused by a ground cable that looks like its making good contact, but isnt, im asuming the tractor is cranking slow? then pull the starter off and have it bench tested if the bushing ect are worn it will drag and cause all kinds of problems ,when the conversion was made did they change out the 6v factory coil to a 12 volt coil? how is the system set up
