There are a bunch of listings for parts on Ebay. Do a search for your model, you'll see the listings. I have seen on the web a few small engine sites, some specifically servicing these tillers, do a google search and see what comes up.
Get the serial number and have it handy, then go onto the MTD website, look your model up, use the serial number, its on a flat spot on top of the trans, older ones on the right, stamped by hand. There are quite a few parts available for these. Suprisingly so, these seem to be fairly well supported. Years back I could go over the the hill and down to the factory get anything for these.
Believe it or not, I also found parts listing on of all places, Sears, Parts direct, check there too, the website, I still could not believe that these were listed there, can't make the connection, but I did see it as so.
