Today I watched a program on PBS called "A Farm Story" and what a story it was. It was narrated and written by Jerry Apps of Wisconsin. It's a story about Jerry growing up on their Wisconsin farm. If any of you get the chance to watch this program, don't miss it. I'm sure it will bring back memories to many of you. He does an excellent job of telling how life was when he was a child on the farm. The one point he made that really stood out to me was his definition of work. He said work was during, haying, thrashing etc. all the other work was called chores and not really considered work since it was a daily event. I'm sure any farmer young or old would really enjoy this film. This week is pledge week on PBS here and this film was one of their specials. Don't miss it when it comes to your PBS stations. Later,it may show up on YouTube too.
