Depends for what model pump and what make tractor, car or truck it is on.
If you owned a Deere tractor - then a SM-2045 is one of the best. Besides giving all the general repair info for CDC, CBC, DB, JDB, JDC, etc. pumps and injectors - it also gives the fuel delivery micrometer settings, timing curve specs and application #s. The SM-2045 is available free on-line in a big PDF file.
Note that Deere also has full manuals for all the other pumps they used.
If you had another make -again a company specific book is often best. I have an excellent Stanadyne repair manual within my Allis Chalmers HD4 factory book. It even gives info on how to air-time which Stanadyne would not tell you. Ford and IH also have similar books.
If you have a car or truck with a DB2 or DS4 pump - then you need an official Stanadyne manual plus fuel delivery settings that come separately.
