Look in the 'farm and ranch' section of your local newspaper
(if it has one), and see what similar tractors are selling for. You might ask a local tractor dealer (preferrably a reseller
of used equipment) what this might be worth. Bring
him an itemized list of all the implements, tractor, etc.
and tell him you're not interested in having him buy it, just
in his opinion of what you should ask. (By telling him you
don't want him to buy it, you remove his apprehension about
giving you a price). You might have a neighbor/friend start it up, and
estimate the condition of the engine, tires, etc. They
can have a large impact on its value. Rear tires are
~$600 and an engine rebuild can be $1000 or more - and
looking at the prices others have quoted you (in previous
replies), you can see where those problems can massively
devalue the tractor. It may start and run fine, but that
doesn't mean the engine might not need a rebuild. So, ask trusted people to help you - not those who have
an interest in scamming you, determine a price, and see what
happens. Good luck. I bought a '46 "A" with hydraulics and a Dearborn rear blade
for $1250, even though the seller had $1700 into it. The
local market was slow, and he was semi-desperate. I think I got a
great deal - rebuilt engine, new rear tires, excellent blade,
and a fully-optioned tractor. This was in Colorado, FWIW.
