Looks like they'll have the culverts covered by the time they quit tomorrow unless they can't get the gravel or sand quick enough. I think I heard them say the tubes will be covered with sand and then gravel under the traveled portion of the road and sand covered with clay for the portions outside the traveled part. We will see tomorrow if I heard them right.
This was the bed Thursday evening. I wanted to show the pic taken from the usual vantage point with the phone box in the corner but one of the crew was down there holding the surveying stick and I don't know if he wants his pic posted on a world wide forum. The shot is pointed the same direction but down at the level of the bed. The bed is at the level they will need to lay the pipe in this pic.
