I remember the whole thing...set list of both bands...the works! LOL rr I think ya figured that may be the case! Larry, I have been a Freebird since I saw the original band at age 13 about a month before the crash!
Last night both bands actually did a song together durin Bad Co"s set it was awesome!
Although I feel that there is NO band that should ever close a Skynyrd Concert except Skynyrd, I have mellowed enough over the years and have reconciled both ZZ Top and Bad Co doing it as they are both right there on the next rung below Skynyrd! Of course the coolest part of the night was Freebird (so overplayed about the only time I listen to it is at the concerts now, but even sober I still shed a tear or two with those big old pics of Ronnie and the gang looking down, then start thinking about Grandparents...!
But one other really cool thing was just before Bad Co came out for their recall my Brother and I looked at each other and at the same time said something to each other about not being able to hear them play Seagull...they finished walked off and Paule Rogers and Simon Kirk walked back out alone with two acoustic guitars and laid down an awsome Seagull...Bro n I just looked at each other and laughed...the Rock Gods were listening!
Unfortunately Gordon Lightfoot was playing here in Binghamton, and at age 74 he may beat Skynyrd to the end of the touring trail, but choices have to be made!

Today's Featured Article - Field Modifications (Sins of the Farmer) - by Staff. Picture a new Chevrolet driving down the street without it's grill, right fender and trunk lid. Imagine a crude hole made in the hood to accommodate a new taller air cleaner, the fender wells cut away to make way for larger tires, and half of a sliding glass door used to replace the windshield. Top that off with an old set of '36 Ford headlight shells bolted to the hood. Pretty unlikely for a car... but for a tractor, this is pretty normal. It seems that more often than not they a ...
