One of several things could be the issue. The squeeling belt is an indication that the header is stopping in its travel at that point, and the hydraulics are prevented from lowering it further. this causes excess pressure in the hydraulics and slips the belt. (Just like a loose power steering belt will squeel when the wheel reaches the full left or right end of travel) The resason might be that a stop has been set to prevent lowering the header farther than a given distance. Look for a bracket or linkage that could be set for that purpose. The safety support to prevent the header from lowering when traveling could be set. The header pivot system could be in a bind (not good) There could be a wrong cylinder used in the header lift linkage that cannot travel farther. There couold be a block under the header so it could rest on it in storage taking the pressure off of the hydraulics. Just ideas, looking is the answer. Jim
