Doris: You deck sounds like it is a Woods L59 (59 inches). If it is, you want to be sure it is on rather snug. Belts warm up quickly and stretch and then fall off. Looping the belt (206inches of it) around the pulleys can be tricky. Go to a Farmall/IH dealer and ask for a photocopy of the belt pattern for a Woods L59 deck. The diagram will show how to intall it. If your belt is rolling over, it may be too worn. If its edges are rounded it will have trouble staying in place. I mow 4 acres once a week and usually go through two belts a year ($44 each!). Good luck, Stan
