Looks great, my tomatoes are doing well, should be lots, I over plant those typically, I can see a couple of nice large pots of homemade sauce.

I've been picking cucumbers daily now, lettuce's have been good, some bolted, but the next row is good, I'll have to plant more so its in time for the tomatoes and a nice summer salad. My row of seed potatoes, is good too, ought to provide a lot, its the most I've ever planted so far. Broccoli is good though one or 2 plants had some rot, all that darned rain, some of the heads had some brown, the rest is picture perfect. Corn was planted late, if it were on time it may have not germinated, or really had a rough time, the 64 day will make it no problem, so will the 70 something day, 90 day is also looking ok, might surprise me, I hand cultivated and though there are some weeds, but the corn is winning hands down, its a large patch 35x80 or so. At least I'll get my moneys worth spent in seed ! Just about time for some dried blood side dressing, time elapsed nitrogen will make it continue, one side of the garden I expanded and it was sod since the late 60's, no fertilizer and its growing fast.

The apricot tree produced more than I could eat, the deer, woodchuck have cleaned up the ground like crazy, all that rain, good pollination, finally after years of none.

On Sunday, out of nowhere, the NYS police aviation unit showed up, did a close fly over in a helicopter and circled my house exclusively, well below the 500'-0" threshold. Well I hope I passed inspection ! I have to believe the fenced in vegetable garden along the back of my house, lured them in, there was, (but I cut them a week ago) a clump of staghorn sumac under the bow window, I have to believe they were looking for marijuana, friend came up from the diner across the pond, was having dinner with his mom, and was like what the heck is going on, they thought it was going to land in our field. It would have really ticked me off if there were horses in the pasture, field or premises. That would have been dangerous given how they spook. I wanted to call them, and ask what the deal was, did someone escape again and is the run, another bank robbery, a marijuana eradication flight or what ? Well I hope I passed, LOL ! Next the FDA will be over checking my produce ! LOL ! I think they have done it before, I was away and a neighbor told me they were circling some years back.

I can brag that my garden is doing so well, had to be the tomatoes, (maybe the Sumac from a week ago ?) that law enforcement needed to check it out. Never a dull moment !
