I wish that were the case Rusty...I"m a firm believer in American built, but two people I have lots of faith in have reported the following: One buddy is the maintenence manager for a large landscape concern in Ithaca, NY; says they are running all Toyota Tundras now (Kubota too but thats a different argument) as the maintence (other than scheduled stuff) is almost "nil". He said they have a couple that are getting pretty long in the tooth and have never had anything except scheduled maintenence. Says the closest any of the other brands came was Ford, and that was the F250s doing jobs that they are doing with Tundra 1/2tons now. My Brother was svc Mgr at a Chev/Toyota dealer for years before recently moving to a Dodge/Ford dealer. Told me that for the average guy, the Chevy would probably be the way to go as they head incentives that made them significantly less expensive, but if you were towing/hauling alot, or using it in your business as a work truck, Toyota was the way to go as "we just don"t have to work on "em much!" Then he took me out in the shop and said what do you see? I saw several Chebbies on racks, and one Toyota getting new tires!
