Hey John, I remember seeing that big bridge last year on vacation. My family and I drove the river road to stop at the plantation tours. Y'all have an interesting farming system in those river bottoms. Unlike anything else here in the states on google earth aerial views. I am from the rice belt of southeast Texas. Enjoyed our visit there. A lot has been improved there. We in Texas would always say a rough looking woman looks like ten miles of Louisianna highway. Well the roads are fixed now thanks to all those Texans crossing the state line to play the slots eh! Thanks for the pics and info. Next time I will share my favorite Boudreaux / Thibodeaux joke.
