: How hard are parts to find for this model? The 440 was the base for the industrial line. They were made from 1959 to 1966. They came as the standard 420/430 two cylinder gas engine, with a 2 cyl, 2 cycle (GM 2-53) diesel engine. The bulk were gas, though. Even a worn out crawler/dozer is worth $2000 in today's market. Add $1000 each for the six-way power blade and direction reverser. Most of the 'wear' parts (clutches, bearings, etc) are readily available from JD industrial dealers. The non-wearing parts (housings, etc) are not.
