The 400 mile garage sale is June 6,7,8,9. Today is the 7th so the earliest you possibly could've gone was yesterday. Yesterday was WEDNESDAY. People are working.
The tractor show... Well, you should've realized that they wouldn't host a tractor show on a Sunday-Monday. It probably said 2012 too... So clearly the 7,8,9 dates are the correct ones. You obviously went today. Given the time of day, you must've shown up there at what, 6AM?
Anybody that knows anything about these types of things knows that the day to go is usually SATURDAY, and then in the afternoon.
Friday is usually a set-up day, and even then only some of the participants show up. Most of them are regular folks who have day jobs and aren't going to take 2-3 days off just so you've got something to look at.
Sunday is usually tear-down day, and if you show up mid-afternoon expecting a show, you'll be disappointed. Most people are pooped out from "showing" the day before and have some distance to travel, and have jobs to get back to on Monday morning...
