Ok so this morning i hooked up my haybine to my Massey 3165 (industrial 165) to go mow down some hay and the hydraulics did not work. The header would raise but only very very slowly... I had been having trouble with the 3point lift sometimes not responding but usually it a little bit of throttle and it would start working... no go for the aux hydraulics... anyway i had been wanting to change the hydraulic oil filter and decided that it must have just gotten so clogged it was restricting fluid flow---that is what i am hoping for---i dont want to replace the pump---- anyway i read some stuff on the forum, talked to my local MF dealer and popped the lift plate off the top of the tractor to get down to the filter, there is no plate on the bottom on this model... But i cant figure out how to possibly get the filter out with out splitting the tractor and pulling out the hydraulic pump. It is a model with IPTO so that setup is partly over top of the filter making it seemingly impossible to get out.... cant get the screen out either and it seems to be broken too.... so any ideas how to get the filter out?

also the 2 bolts that hold the tube that goes down to the screen, can they be taken out or are they supporting somthing on the other side of the... not sure what it is ... maybe the pump for the PTO...

any way i can get a diagram of how the hydraulic assembly works in there?

i'm kinda wanting to get it back together cause i have hay to bale tomorrow....

any help would be greatly appreciated!
