Got a friend who still has a house in Mountain Home,up in between the High School and Armory. His wife passed away and he sold all the rest of the real estate they had down there and he moved back up here. We haven't been there in about seven years now,but it was getting so built up and crowded it wasn't much fun to go there anymore. Albert always said the locals were great, but all the new imports tend to be azzholes. He was telling me what he got out of the places he sold, higher than a cats back compared to what he paid. If you go just north of there,up around Bakersfield Mo,beautiful country, not crowded, still close to the lakes for recreation. A little farther north, you'll be up around West Plains of course.
