Ya,I understand. Only thing is,if you don't do it,somebody else will,even if they have to do it themselves.
Pretty easy to take a complaint like this the wrong way though without walking in your shoes and knowing all the details. We have this discussion a couple of times a week it seems like,with the multi location super stores serving the corporate offices instead of serving the local customers. Folks are going to go where they get what they want,not what somebody tells them they should want.
Sorry it didn't work out for you. You served the public longer than I ever could have. I just don't deal that well with the public after a while. Unless of course it's the same people all the time and I know just how to handle each one individually according to their personallity. On Board of Review,I deal with what seems like the same complainers every year. Some are real PsITA and I know from experience to walk on egg shells and not to even speak unless they have a specific question,but it was a long learning curve.
