Reminds me of a P61 Widow story. Two people were flying to New Guinea to teach a class on how to assemble and maintain them. The one closest to the window said - "We must be late, two just flew by!" The ground crews had been getting parts they did not recognize. They had piled them up in a hangar - figuring they belonged somewhere. Then two unidentified airframes showed up. They put two and two together and figured out how to assemble them. Some of the can do spirit...
