Some of the posts on this forum have me concerned for the future. Recently we have seen many pictures of old ways of farming, all of them a reminder of how things used to be. We have also had posts about old family history, often written in a family Bible, and passed down through the years. There will also be farm records, perhaps in the farm office, or up in the attic, or in the basement.Other posts have descrbed how schools no longer teach cursive writing and kids cannot read it. In years to come, how will they be able to study the history of the country if they cannot read it? I am in England, where at the moment we don't have such policies in education, but it is something to be aware of over here, and I think maybe the USA government should perhaps think again about education policies. If I have offended Miss Kim with these thoughts, I will quite understand if this gets poofed.
