ive come full circle i had a dodge shortbed 4x4 back in the early 80's and swore id never let another dodge on the place with me, bought used chevys and fords, while i liked them i use trucks as they were intended to be used,no sence in taking the new depreciation for a truck thats bought to work, now while the old chevys are still running after 30 years, i bought a dodge diesle in '94 after i got mad at ford for its transmissions which would not stand up to the fuel injected 460,not to mention the stock trailer that truck was pulling lol,couldnt buy a chevy as the local dealer was still mad at me for slicking him on a ranch truck i traded in to him, seems this 6 inch thick piece of bondo fell out of the front fender while they were doing a brake job on all 4 wheels so they could sell it again, lol why did they think i traded the truck in in the first place it was beat! i still have that dodge after 300,000 miles i think i'll just keep it, by far the best truck ive ever owned, the 12 valve may not have the power the new ones do, but it doesnt have the problems either the engine just sits in there and runs, and gets twice the fuel millage the new ones do too
