If the steering is plumed into the original pump before the steel line goes into the seat reservoir, that line has bno real pressure in it till a demand is placed on the hydraulics in the valve block (right Side of reservoir) If you have two or three control handles on the right side of the seat, and if one of them is currently not connected to anything, try dead heading that valve while turning the steering. Moving the lever causes demand. Demand causes pressure. Pressure causes steering. If the tractor had PS originally, it should be plumbed into that system. If not you need a 350U steering priority valve to go in the front stack of valves. that would be then connected to the motor making pressure on demand. (350U owner) Jim
