: : Hows the rear rubber on the Z & 30 ? The M's are really great tractors with good parts availability but are fairly common in number. Due to smaller production numbers and fewer tractors saved as they started getting old and tired, the Z & 30 are probably going to grow in collector value faster than the M . If you are looking for something to take to the field and work regular, Then I would go with the M .
: : Why don't you just keep the M and buy the Z & 30 ? most people I know that grew up in Greenfield In. are rich anyway. ;-)

: The rich kicked me out.

Dear Kieth,
I don't know about the rich, but when I was a little kid, there was three colors, red, green, and orange. The trucks were mostly chevy, green&
red, sometimesorange(rarely) or ford,(red or green ), some international. it seems the rebels drove
dodge. I think I only seen 1 MM around this area in37 years, maybe 2. A few masseys. Big Red seems to prevail! It may be a bastard child
of Case & I.H. to J.D. fans, but was king when I
was a kid. I was told by elders, my neighbor
( J.D. Lover) would turn away in shame when our Farmall M would roll past with its smooth,
throughty roar. Guess that says it all.
Your opinions please!

I have been a collector of Farmall tractors since 1990 when I first obtained part of the family farm in Eastern Indiana. My current collection includes a 1938 F20, 1945 H, 1946 H, and the recently purchased 1951 H. This article will focus on what I encountered and what I did to bring the 1951 NEAR DEATH Farmall H back to life. ... [Read Article]
