I'm not gonna say they were my favorites, but the only motorcycles that I ever owned were Allstates, sold by Sears. 250cc with a unique twin cylinder and only one combustion chamber. They were too heavy for the displacement and the cast iron jug would overheat and gall the pistons. Run about 60/70 mph with a good tailwind. redtom, I have a Sears 106cc, its in several boxes but I think I could still find it all. Been in an old building for 35 yrs. And Larry, those scooters were made by Vespa, good little scooters, but with the small diameter wheels you had to really watch for potholes. (Which I am sure you know all about.) They were a real PITA to work on with the engine, trans, and final drive all in one unit. I worked on Sears motorcycles from '65 until they discontinued sales.
