I saw that too, mine was factory with a Kohler K321S in it. I ran this one when I was a kid and in highschool, the older ones like turn of the century had hit/miss engines. It said in the ad that it will replace 6 men, and it can rip 6" material. This must have been a tool relative to timber construction. I also saw another blade attachment on an old one in addition to the main blade.
I cut the ends off over 2000 rough cut boards with this one, its a beast, 2 at a time as I recall, I had a sliver of pine embedded in my forearm from that summer, it came out in the winter, all smooth like a tooth pick, was a big splinter too, never knew it was in there.
We used it like a buzz saw for small diameter firewood, I recall you could make a pile quickly of limbwood and similar.
I often wondered if you could put some stops, fence etc., make up some rollers and side tables, for milling small diameter logs, but its really just an oversize table saw, not sure what thickness material it was suited for, and I think its a late 60's vintage model, old motor had a tag rivetted to the blower/flywheel housing.
