Been driving Jeeps for the last 25 years. Haven't had a bad one. Traded a '99 grand a year ago for a '07. '99 was a 4.7 and '07 is a 5.7 hemi. No trouble with the Quadra-trac system in either. Check brake rotors, especially front for updates as factory rotors had a history of rusting. Also original brake phenolic pistons would absorb fluid and swell up and stick. Replacements have stainless pistons. Old inline six was replaced with the 3.7 v-6. Not as much torque for towing, but a little better gas mileage.
