I read a very incredible story this AM. It was an article that my wife sent by email.
Basically this woman has a 13 year old son that is a Super Genius....really, but....He is also severely mentally unstable, and extremely violent. This woman says I could be Dylan Klebold's mother or the mother of Eric Harris, or this kid in Conn. This child has threatened to kill her, (his own mother) He has almost stabbed his siblings, and his mother. The mental health pros dont know what to do. This person is a loose cannon like what happened last Friday. This woman made the last statement....pleading......"We have to do something about mental illness in this nation"
Now.....Think about it for a minute. How many "normal" people are going to say, "I am gonna go to a school, or mall or theater and shoot 30 people" No sane person would do this. (a mentally ill person might) A guy that robs a store doesnt commit this type of horrific crime after he empties the cash register. I am not condoning robbery by the way.
If you were to look at the mass murders of people in this country like what happened last week it was done by severely mentally ill people. How do you cure these individuals? Brain transplant? Lobotomy? I also think the mother was a total moron for having firearms in a home with her son who was a threat to his family and society. Not an easy solution.

Today's Featured Article - The Nuts and Bolts of Fasteners - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and ... [Read Article]
