What is wrong with people today ????? I am a gun owner and i would never even think of doing that. Back in HighSchool i was on the Rifle Club AT THE SCHOOL and we SHOT IN the basement of the School . Guys and Girls both shot on the team . every Thursday i would go into school with my 22 Winchester Bolt auction heavy barrel target rifle and a brick of ammo and place it in my locker along with all the others on the team that had there own rifle and nobody EVER gave it a thought and i also carried a three blade stockmans pocket knife . And OH Back then they had RULES and you had respect , mess up and ya found yourself having a BOARD MEETING at school and round two when ya got home . Durning hunting season there were five of us that hunted together and we would walk to meet up and then walk the rest of the way out of the village limits down the main street carrying our shot guns over our shoulder and nobody called in SWAT the local cop would just wave at us and we started this hunting together when were were 14 . Now today i have had the one nutty neighbor call the cops on me twice now for walking out of my house carrying a gun to my truck to take with me out to the farm. The one neighbor kid is the type that worrys me as he want to kill everything as i have seen him out back with a pellet rifle shooting at birds squirrels the nutty neighbor cats and i have found a pellet mark in the truck bed. He worrys me due to the fact he does not want to work but wants somebody to GIVE him what he wants.
