Well Just have to tell this on myself.. Had been using a wore out planter and got a chance to buy one of those not long after they came out. Man had left fertlize in the hoppers and was a mess. Young me took the hopper screws out and really did a good job cleaning things out. Put it back together and headed to field. loaded it with 300lb to the side and started planting. Dumb me had put the screws back in exactly reverse. Everthing was screwed to the center instead of out. After dipping the bins clean and reassembly things worked well. Before I quit using that [planter I could pull a unit and take it apart in the dark. As other said keep it clean and use graphite. we actually planted as speeds up to and around 6 mph with good results. I would say for three acres you won,t get into the flipflop markers and somer issues but over all you should be tickled if you keep it clean.
