One way to avoid stress related illness...Just be of simple mind who doesn't care about ANYTHING. Not my style...There are things I care about deeply
Another way to avoid stress is to ignore those people and those situations that you cannot change. It took me about 50 years before that sunk in.
Worry causes stress. Stress causes illness. Illness causes worry. Around and round we go.
Some of the suggestions my doctor had for me won't make me live any longer, but they dang sure will make it SEEM longer.
So...I eat what I want, but try to limit what I want to what is reasonable. I try not to worry about what I can't change, make the most of what I CAN change, and above all, quit concerning myself with what others think, other than my wife and kids/grandkids.
I was at deaths door when I was 19. I'm 65 now, on borrowed time the way I see it. If it all ends tomorrow, it's been a good ride.
Just try to be happy and enjoy what time you do have.
