I recently bought a used JD 301AG tractor and having some problems with the hydraulics. The "G" stands for gasoline and the engine seems to be okay. The 3 point hitch is not working properly but we think the pump is okay. We've changed the oil and filter and cleaned a strainer on top of the pump. The level is showing high so we drained some oil out but no help. Is there any kind of control valve or another strainer that needs to be checked or adjusted?
