The portion of this barn that is filled with hay is 56ft wide and 48ft long. This is this years hay. It is mostly bermuda with a row of bahia across the front. I usually graze the bahia, but my cow could not keep up so I cut and bailed some. I still have about 10 more acers of coastal to cut, but will not cut it for 3 to 4 weeks. I hope to have moved enough of this by that time to have room to put the new hay in.
Oh, I turned in a materials list to the building supply people Friday for a price on building a 40X48 to store my equipment in. We will see if sticker shock sets in.
