We just got home from the Farm Science Review in London, Ohio. What a pleasure it was to walk around without being run over by golf carts!!!
They changed the policy this year that you needed a handicapped sticker or a note from your Dr to bring or rent a golf cart. It really worked. Last year, it was bumper to bumper carts and plenty of crazy drivers. This year, the carts were at a minimum and it looked like the people in them needed them.
You could walk freely and cross the street whenever and wherever you wanted without being hit. It was great!!
I fired off an angry email to the organizers last year about the carts, now I need to send them a Thank you.
My hat is tipped to the Ohio State University for having a great show and fixing a problem that was way out of hand.
