Cliff is still running the combine and that helps us out alot. Frees up someone to do some odd jobs or help out hauling.

Travis has been here quite a bit helping us keep things rolling. This is his 11th fall with us I believe.

It has been pretty warm. I noticed in this picture you can see some distortion in the distance caused by the heat. Those buildings are right on hwy 116 east of Farmington.

This plane few over a couple times the other day. I didnt catch him the first time but the second time I heard it and baled out of the tractor just in time for him to fly away. Stearman I believe?

So far I have been running the 4440. Its a pretty nice ride for something that is 31 years old.

A neighbor stopped yesterday and said something along the lines of those wagons being a pretty good load for the tractors. I got to thinking and with the wagons loaded I suppose its around 50K lbs being towed. It can be a load.

This is our current farm headquarters. Thanks to modern technology I can run the entire farm from wherever I am working.

I am very happy to report that since the first field of corn that was so bad, things have been much better. We have two fields harvested and started a third. The first made 50bpa, the second 150bpa and the third one is 180bpa. Have been enjoying harvest much more the last couple of days!

Oh yes, the watch dog! Never misses anything, except when he is asleep or you want him to see something. He's been working hard!
Raining again today as we work to wipe out the rainfall deficit. Hope to be back at it in a day or so. In the mean time, we will check cows and get ready to bale stalks.
