Out mowing pasture about 5PM and it started to drizzle, then I saw a lightning bolt to the south. So, being cautious, I headed for the barn. We got .2" of rain while I ate supper, but it was still spitting some, so I didn't go back out. A friend about three miles south of here called and said he just had over 2" of moisture. Since then, Baltimore has been hit with tornado warnings, and the area just north has been hit with all kinds of warnings of flooding, tornados, golf ball sized hail and wind. But it got to the county line and kind of died. Now, there are more warnings out and the TV is going crazy with the warnings shows. So far, we've had about 1/4 inch of rain, and one heck of a light show to the south, and it looks like we may get some in a storm moving in this sirection in the next half hour or so. But it's pretty to watch. Almost as much fun as a good fireworks display!!!
