Other than just pretty country, what are the attractions of the area??? May be buying a stallion near Calgary. If so, SWMBO will go there and fly back to Germany with it. Hate for her to waste an opportunity to travel a little tho. Looking at the google map, it shows what looks like a nice loop with Canada 1 west to 5 north to 16 east to Edmonton and 2 south to Calgary. Is that a safe area for a woman alone to travel and is there enough to keep her attention along the way? Not worried about fancy hotels or shopping, just nice country where she can take about a gazillion pictures and see something other than Germany and stuff on this side of the pond. I was 3 years at Ft Lewis, WA and constantly kick myself for not going up to Vancouver and seeing some of BC.... Like for her to be able to get around and enjoy some nice stuff.... Don't wanna send her somewhere and get her mugged or knocked off tho.....
