I respectfully do not agree with you. The Ag programs at Penn State are a perfectly suitable topic for discussion on the Tractor Talk forum. If you are not familiar with the Penn State Ag programs, and the Penn State Ag extension, it is the backbone and saving grace for almost all of Pennsylvania's modern agriculture and full time farms.

Penn State still, to this day, helps me with my farm and with the new REg. 102. (BMP filing) that we are all subjected to. If that program were to suffer any setbacks, it will affect my farm and my livelihood.

Please try to understand where the original poster is coming from on this. He and his children will feel some sort of sting from this.

I can see your point though. This is a heavy subject and it's been too consuming in teh media, lately. I'm sick of hearing about it. Being in close proximity to State College, PA I've gotten daily updates to teh point I could tell you what Joe Paterno ate for his last meal. I wish it would go away, too. Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg for many who will be dragged through the mud.

Sorry for continuing the subject, but, if it offends you or, is something you misinterpretted to be "non-tractor related" I can sadly assure you that it is tractor and farm related.

Today's Featured Article - Talk of the Town: The Saga of Grandpa's Tractor - by The following saga is from the Tractor Talk Discussion Forum. Someone. The saga starts with the following message: Hey guys I have a decision to make. I know what you all will probably suggest and it will probably agree with me way down inside, but here it is. I have a picture blown up and framed in my "tractor room" of a Farmall M. It was my Grandpa's tractor, of which whom I never got to meet. He froze to death getting this tractor out of the barn to pull a truck out of the ditch before I was born. Anyway my dad and aunt had to sell it at the auction, ... [Read Article]
