A bison cow eats about the same as beef lb for lb.
A 5' page wire fence will keep them in( no hot wire needed)
I suggest you get in contact with the NBA to get the ins and outs on the Bison, it takes to long to give all that info here.
I think the price you posted is a bit rosy but maybe prices in the US are better, here we get $1.70 to $ 2.20 for long yearlings
