Wish we had some global warming here in Ireland, All we have got this year is global wetting! Cows are all back inside on the concrete and eating the winter rations whilst the grass crops are growing old in the fields, second cut ready to cut and some of the first cut still not mowed. Some places the swathes are still lying in the fields where the chopper was too heavy to lift them. Some salvage operations going on with round balers and plastic wrap but the bales are so heavy it takes a heavy tractor to lift them and the ground is too wet for that! and the crops are doing 20+ bales per acre. Don't know what is best, I am just glad I went early and even made some hay in May. I will send you over some rain if you please send me a portion of your sunshine! Sam
