I had the ballast in my Trojan UV light quit and Trojan doesn't sell it anymore. (planned as far as I'm concerned). The dealer and Trojan told me to buy a new UV light for 500+ tax. I called Robertson(manufactured the original ballast) and they said they no longer made it and sorry about that, but they took my email anyways and the next day I received an email saying that they found a replacement for it. I ordered it and it wouldn't work so I spent about a 1/2 hour on the phone with them. Got it working now. Cost was $58.00 including shipping, duty, taxes, etc. Good company with great tech support. Original ballast was a magnetic ballast that lasted 12 years. New one is an electronic ballast. Hopefully it will last longer yet
