Yup Keith they have twice tried to cut thru that rubber chip liner with dozers for a fire break and it has jumped it twice. They are going to let it burn. I can see the smoke all day long from here 12 miles away. I'm just glad the smoke has not come my direction yet. I have my wife's sister and brother in law about 1/2 mile to the south of the landfill but the wind has been out of the south southwest all 3 days. It blew to the town of IC all day today.
One good thing is now they will have to grind more rubber tires to reline it. It will get rid of more old tires that way.
