I'm not even thinking about planting yet. Mothers Day is as soon as I ever care to start anymore. You can let it lay in the cold ground,come up uneven and take what you get or wait til the ground warms up and have it all come up quick. Been doing this WAY too long to get anxiuos anymore. Things always average out,there ain't no global warming and consistancy is always best.
I don't remember what year it was,early 90s I'm thinking,I was all done May first. Don't know that the corn was any better that year than it ever was.
I've still got enough manure to haul to keep me busy for a while anyway.
