Well now it's possible for me to drop two hammers at the same time. lol?.Just got it from a swell dealer .Victors is a long slide, the other one is a 5" barrel. Hedging on inflation is what it amounts to along with Home invasion Protection. All newer pistols are Stainless steel. looked up value of the weapons we have and it's amazing the prices they bring in todays market. We had a REAL HARD TIME trying to locate any SS 1911, Talked with over 25 dealers, and they can't get any SS1911, So we really lucked out. Had a big dealer with 9 stores. lie to me that they would innerstore transfer one up to the dealer close to us. Was assured it was on the truck and would be in the store 23rd or 24th. Would call so we could go pick it up. Phone rang 23rd , guess what No Shipping gun up here. Waiting and waiting then they called and said no luck. None available. Any way to make a long story short, Victor found a dealer who had 2 1911s. Now we own 2 Springfield 1911 s in S/S/ Pays to be patient. Now I'm ready for what ever comes along. Do you guys use fire arms as a hedge against inflation? Just interested to know.P.S. How many carry a similar weapon on your tractor for protection? regards, LOU.
